There are a total of 174 adult education centres in Finland, whose operations extend to the area of each municipality. You can now find the majority of adult education centres’ courses directly at https://kurssit.kansalaisopistot.fi/en/search . You can search for courses in the service based on a search term and location, for example.
If you wish, you can also narrow down the search by day of the week or semester. The functions of the site are available in Finnish, Swedish and English, and the aim has been to make the site as accessible as possible. You can enrol in a course at any adult education centre, regardless of your place of residence. If you wish, you can also narrow down the search by educational institution. Please remember to select the current semester from the semester menu, i.e. Spring 2026 courses can be found with the semester selection ”Spring 2026”.
